How it Works
How it works…
Users searching for land to buy as part of a community self-build project can join an existing group or start their own group. Each group is given a profile page on which all the important information, images and content can be managed by the group administrator/s (the creator). You might choose to join a group based on its geographical location, its ethos, the type of building they are planning to do and/or members’ hobbies or interests. If you do not find a group you are interested in, you can create one yourself or simply search alone.
A group profile allows you to set up a calendar to communicate with one another, plan events, post documents and new sites of interest, all the way through to arranging purchase of a site and beyond.
Both individuals and groups can search for sites. Once you ‘join’ a site, you will have access to the site’s profile: its details, its status and how to contact the owner.
This creates the perfect platform for self builders to get together, join one another, show interest in land, gain information on schemes, grants and loans, contact the owner, purchase land and start a COMMUNITY BUILD TOGETHER.
