2 Families Wanted to Join One Planet Development Project in Pembrokeshire!

We have 20 acres of agricultural land and part ownership of a 12 acre woodland near by. Our land is about 10 miles from Lammas Eco village, close to the Steiner School, a community woodland and working farms.

We envision having 4 families living on the land, with ourselves and parents inlaw making up 2 of the families.

We are looking for 2 like-minded families with a passion for making this happen, a willingness to work hard and a dream of working the land for a living!

We estimate plots costing £35-40,000- which will include some shared infrastructure- but not include your own dwelling.

How we see our Eco Village:

‘Co-operative’ living*,  working together, supporting one another, supporting the local community.

(*we intend to live autonomously in our own dwellings, with our own plots, but we wish to work co-operatively  on some projects/work eg planting trees, growing food, but this will be completely optional! We are not intending to be 'a community', just 4 like minded families, working the land!)

‘Open Hearted Spirituality’- non religious, celebration of god/life/nature, community gatherings; dancing, singing, healing, praying, sharing food. No drugs/smoking, occasional alcohol, predominantly vegetarian.

‘Sustainable’ living lightly on the earth - as in the policy mentioned above, living low impact (no/rarely flying), car sharing, utility sharing, growing foods together, minimising waste (through recycling, composting and energy efficient systems).

adopting a land-based, simple, localised lifestyle that works with the land and natural cycles
